François-Régis Montazel

François-Régis is the CEO and co-founder of Spirit Asset Management and Member of its Board of Directors.

Prior, François-Régis was the Managing Director of EFG Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. since the setting up of the Bank in 2006 (banking license received in January 2006) and until December 31, 2014, managing around 100 persons, all dedicated to the private banking industry for an international UHNW clientele.

Before EFG, FR was managing Director of a Luxembourg PSF and prior was working in tax department for PWC and Deloitte.

FR holds a Master in Law  from the University of Paris XII, is graduated from the Institut de Droit des Affaires of Paris II-Assas and from ESSEC business school in International Business Law and Management.

Caroline Quéré

Caroline is Deputy Director and Chief Compliance Officer of Spirit Asset Management and has been involved in the financial services and the wealth management business for about 10 years.

She has previously worked in a number of global financial institutions, including Credit Suisse in France where she worked as a director heading the Compliance and Risks departments for Private Banking and Investment Banking activities and ensuring an oversight role on risks in Western Europe region, EFG Banque in France where she worked as head of Compliance and Risks for Private Banking and Asset Management activities, and BNP Paribas Luxembourg where she worked in Compliance for Wealth Management International activities.

She holds a Master post graduate degree in Business and Tax Law from the University of Paris-Assas and is graduated from ESSEC business school in International Business Law and Management.

Cyrus Wardjawand

Cyrus has been involved in private banking in Luxembourg for the last 30 years providing wealth management and client advisory services.

He started his career at DZ Bank Luxembourg in 1987 before leaving the bank as an authorized officer in 1998 to join Banca Del Gottardo as a Senior Vice President. In 2007, he joined EFG Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. in the same position.

He left EFG Luxembourg on December 31, 2014 to join the launch of Spirit Asset Management. In addition to his position of Senior Vice President in wealth management and advisory services dedicated to private clients, Cyrus is also a Member of our Board of Director.

Ulf Mennenkamp

Ulf joined Spirit Asset Management at inception as a Senior Vice president.

Before, he has been involved in the private banking and asset management business for more than 25 years in three different financial institutions, providing wealth management and tailor-made solutions to an international clientele, both in Germany and Luxembourg.

Furthermore, Ulf is a member of the investment committee of our funds.

Guido Berresheim

Guido joined Spirit Asset Management at inception as a Senior Vice president. He has been involved in the asset management business for more than 23 years, providing wealth management and client advisory services to private clients.

Previously, he worked for 3 different private banks in Luxembourg. During his work for EFG Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. in 2007, he launched the Ganador Spirit Invest Fund together with his colleagues. Guido is a member of the investment committee of our funds.

Marie-Claude Catalogna

Marie-Claude has been involved in the financial services business for over 35 years, spending 25 years in Private banking, providing asset management and client advisory services.

She was a CRO/Senior Vice President at EFG Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. from 2006 to 2014, focused on European customers and providing tailor-made investments solutions.

Previously, she worked as a client advisor / Senior Vice President at UBS Luxembourg from 2002 to 2006.

Prior UBS, she was from 1988 to 2002 at Ferrier Lullin Luxembourg, acquired by UBS Luxembourg in 2002. After a first experience in the Middle Office department, she joined in 1990 the Private Banking Department as a client advisor in charge of mainly European customers.

Before she developed her knowledge by working in different banks : responsible of back offices at Banco di Napoli, Luxembourg from 1986 to 1988, and at Bank of Boston Luxembourg from 1979 to 1986 as assistant of Portfolio Manager and responsible of back offices.

Marie-Claude joined Spirit Asset Management at inception as a Senior Vice President, and she is a member of the investment committee of our funds.

Bettina Aussems

Bettina brings 20 years’ experience in private banking, portfolio management and client advisory services for international clients.

As a Vice President at EFG Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. from 2006 to 2014, she focused on business development and relationship management for HNWI living all over Europe, providing tailor-made solutions to match customer needs (including portfolio management, life insurance policies‘ management, dedicated investment funds, investment strategies, etc …)

Before, she developed her expertise by working at United European Bank for more than 11 years, where she was in charge of mainly French, Dutch and Belgian clients.

Bettina holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Science from HEC Business School and specialized in financial analysis and portfolio management in a post degree program.

Bettina joined Spirit Asset Management at inception as a Senior Vice President, and she is a member of the investment committee of our funds.

Alexander Paulus

Alexander joined Spirit Asset Management at inception as a Senior Vice President.

Before, he has been involved in the private banking and asset management business for more than 24 years, working for four different banks, providing wealth management and tailor-made solutions to an international clientele.

Alexander is a member of the investment committee of our funds, and the Head of Asset Management.

Ilona Friedrich

Ilona has been involved in the private banking business in Luxembourg for more than 26 years.

She has been working as a Customer Relationship Manager for two major Swiss banks providing overall financial services to an international clientele.

Ilona joined Spirit Asset Management at inception as a Vice President.

Damien Cabadi

Damien is the Chief Financial Officer of Spirit Asset Management. He has been involved in the financial services business for more than 14 years.

Prior, Damien was Chief Financial Officer of MassMutual Europe SA and Head of Accountancy of Cardif Lux International SA.

He holds a Bank Finance Insurance Master I (Paris Dauphine), a Master II related to Real Estate (Sorbonne and E.N.P.C.) and he is now graduating with an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.
